The St. Anthony Police Department is dedicated to keeping you and your family safe. Whether you are taking a walk through your neighborhood or enjoying a community event, the officers are trained to maintain order and safety. The St. Anthony Police Department prides itself on the skills of its officers, training them in all phases of policing the community rather than having a few of them specializing in certain areas. For information about the department or how you can get involved in helping prevent crime in your area, call Police Chief John Ohl at (612) 782-3350.
Keeping the community of St. Anthony beautiful is a priority for both the residents and the city government. Each year, there is an official \"Clean Up Day\" in May and the residents volunteer to gather and pickup any trash and debris that makes the city look less than perfect. Some residents even plant flowers and shrubs in areas to brighten the town. To get involved in this or for more information, call the St. Anthony City Hall at (612) 782-3301. Recycling is also a priority in the St. Anthony community. Your residential trash hauler provides recycling bins for your recyclables and they will also pick those materials up on a regular basis. Call one of the area\'s haulers for more information. Haulers that work directly with St. Anthony residents include Walter\'s Rubbish, Inc. (763) 780-8464, Ace Solid Waste at (763) 427-3110, Allied Waste at (763) 784-2104 or Waste Management at (763) 784-8349.

Many of the high school\'s sports are played at Central Park, but there are other parks scattered throughout the area including Trillium Park (2800 Highway 88), Emerald Park (3925 Macalaster Driver) and Silver Point Park (3010 29th Avenue NE).
